The owners were really accommodating because we had dogs, and the dog baskets were full of supplies, with welcome treats too. They’d left us a range of treats as well, which was a lovely welcome. This was the cleanest place we’ve stayed, and we all had a great time, including the dogs. It’s a cosy cottage we couldn’t fault, with a short walk to the beach and other walks. Thank you so much x

Impeccable. This was probably the best cottage we’ve stayed in over Christmas. The little touches were lovely, like handwritten notes showing how to turn on the Christmas lights. The kitchen was so well stocked that we could make a Christmas dinner.

The owners kindly added some extra touches because they knew we had birthdays during our visit, and we were very grateful for the parking permit they arranged for the nearby car park. Pilchard cottage has everything you could need, and everything is finished to a really high standard. Even in the hot summer weather, it stayed cool.

The owners have lots of ideas for things to do around Dawlish, and it’s a lovely seaside town to explore. Pilchard cottage itself feels warm and welcoming.
