Right by the seafront and in the centre of Deal, Sondes Lodge is in a fantastic spot. We booked at the last minute and our host was welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. She made us a delicious vegan breakfast. Since the booking was so last minute, we brought our own vegan sausages and she provided the rest. The room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and lots of little extras. The only odd thing was the shutter-like ensuite doors, which didn't give much privacy for using the loo, haha. Covid-19 precautions were strict and in place. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

My mum and I have stayed with Reggie several times. She's lovely company, and her dog Rufus was too, though sadly he's now passed away. The rooms are great, and so are her breakfasts. We'd happily recommend staying there.

The room was very clean and well equipped, and the house had a lovely relaxed feel. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was great, and our host was a lovely lady. Thank you, it was well worth staying. Mr & Mrs Martin.

A really friendly lady runs this peaceful place, just a short distance from the sea. It's about 15 mins from Dover and 30 mins from Margate. De eigenaresse speaks Nederlands!

Reggie makes you feel at home in her comfortable, lovely B&B. I'd absolutely recommend it.
