The food wasn't as described and didn't taste right, so I sent it back. As soon as I got my refund, the managers started making snarky remarks while I was still close enough to hear. Some of the most unprofessional service I've had in a long time. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here.

The food can be pricey for some, but I do recommend this place. We were four people, including a child, and the car park had plenty of space. Inside, the decor has a lovely rustic feel. Service was prompt and efficient, with the waiters checking in regularly. Mark served us, knew the menu very well, and was professional. Some of our group were Spanish, and his language skills made ordering easier.

The team made a busy Friday night feel easy. Everyone was welcoming, personable and efficient, from the bar staff to those looking after us in the restaurant. We had a very enjoyable evening at the Dragon with family. Some relatives stayed in the cottages on two separate nights. They were comfortable and well appointed, though there was some noise from above the room. Breakfast and the evening meals we had on two occasions were all well cooked and nicely presented. The surroundings are pleasant, the atmosphere is good, and the menu is delicious. Worth a visit if you're nearby.

Our waiter was superb, a lovely young man who really worked hard to make the evening go well. The team also looked after the cake, candles and balloons for us. We booked a table for Saturday 28th March to celebrate two birthdays, a 40th and a 70th, with five children in our group. We asked for somewhere out of the way so we could relax without disturbing anyone else's meal, and they put us in just the right spot. Thank you, you made our night.
