The hosts were quick to get back to us when we needed them, and the apartment was clean and nicely designed. Its layout is a bit quirky: two double beds share one room, and there's a small single bed under the stairs. That worked fine for our family of four.

Very spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and enough room to sleep more people than advertised. It's fairly central and has lots of amenities. The bathrooms need towel hooks and mats, though, since the showers leak and leave the floors very wet and dangerously slippery. More tea towels would help too. The downstairs toilet needs a longer pull cord, and sometimes the place was cool with no access to the boiler.

John and Elaine do a great job keeping this place clean. It's got everything you need, with tea, coffee and cereals, and feels like a home from home. A good option for a short or mid length break for couples or small families. It's close to the city and right on the main road to County Donegal. I had a fab Valentine's weekend, thanks.

We booked the whole house for two nights for six of us, but found other people staying in some of the rooms. In the morning the front door was open and a man was just standing on the steps. We left on the first day after being promised a refund, but the owner can't be reached, and we're out 150 euro each. We booked through airbnb, and they couldn't get hold of him either. I'm furious. There were only two stools in the kitchen, and someone else's food was in the fridge. It felt like a hostel.
