Diamond House Apartments

We left after the first night of a two-night stay and got no compensation. The lounge was soiled, the place smelled, and the entrance was filthy. There was no service or internet; the bed was small, the shower pathetic, and the TV tiny. Signs in every room telling you what to do and not do. The only things going for it were the painted doors and location. Choose somewhere else. I wish I could share my photos. Leave your email and I’ll send them.

Beds were comfortable and the shower was okay. The place was tidy and clean, though a little rough around the edges here and there, nothing major. You do have to use the stairs. For an affordable city centre break, it’s decent and close to everything.

Mr Hume went out of his way to sort things out when we needed changes to our third-party booking. The apartment was well looked after and very clean, and getting into our unit was easy. We felt safe and comfortable there. It had two bathrooms, a full bedroom, and a pull-out sofa, which suited my husband, our 24-year-old son, and me well. The location was ideal for the city centre, attractions, and bus station. Thank you, Diamond apartments and Mr Hume, for a five-star experience. We’ll be back. Randy Liz and Devin Byrne.

The furniture was uncomfortable too: the couch and armchairs had no legs and sat almost on the floor. The mattresses had springs and were very uncomfortable. We booked an apartment for two couples, with a double bed in each room, but one bedroom had no wardrobe or even a hook for clothes. There was just one small towel per person and no hairdryer.
