The house is such a comfortable base for getting out to Derry and Donegal to the west, or Belfast to the east. There are lovely views nearby, and Learmount Forest is a great spot for a walk or bike ride with the children and a picnic. We stayed with family last summer and had a super time. Our hostess, who lives down the road, gave us a lovely Irish welcome with homemade scones and jam, plus useful tips for exploring the area. Tammy Lodge is brand new, with a fully equipped kitchen that even has a dishwasher. It was spotlessly clean, and the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Our attentive hostess did everything she could to make the visit go well. I’m glad to hear it has received five stars from the Northern Irish Tourist Board, they’re well deserved. We’re planning to return this summer and see more of Northern Ireland.

Tammy Lodge was a lovely place to unwind while visiting from Toronto, Canada. I slept peacefully and really enjoyed the hot bubble baths.
