The Coach & Horses

We booked a night while visiting the nearby Sandringham Christmas Lights. The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and our comfortable room had everything we needed, including fresh milk in the fridge for morning tea. We enjoyed a drink at the bar before dinner. The restaurant is beautifully designed, the menu was exceptional, and all three courses were delicious. Breakfast was just as good, and the friendly staff made the whole visit feel relaxed. A fabulous pub, restaurant and hotel. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again if I'm in the area. Five stars all round!

From booking right through to checking out, our stay at Coach & Horses was fantastic. The recent renovation has created spacious, stylish areas, and our room was outstanding, a real benchmark for comfort and modern luxury. We especially loved dining there. The imaginative menus and high-quality food made every meal a treat, from Sunday lunch and breakfast to dinner. Special mentions for the negroni and old fashioned cocktails, their own gin, homemade granola, and the OYSTERS! The service made the visit truly memorable. Every staff member was friendly and attentive, and looked after us with genuine warmth. Excellence clearly matters here. Definitely five stars, and highly recommended!

Booking a place like this can feel like a bit of a gamble compared with a standard branded hotel, but we had a delightful stay. The rooms were spacious and their fixtures and fittings were superb for the price. Food, cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff were all amazing. Breakfast had a great range of choices, beautifully presented and top-notch in taste and quality. The homemade hash browns were a great surprise after the usual frozen kind.

I stopped in for lunch on a business trip and met Head Chef Jozef. The venison was wonderful. While I waited, I asked about the rooms and was given a quick tour of two of them. Their modern decor is graceful and simply delightful, just right for a weekend away. Even though I was only passing through, the welcome, decor, atmosphere, rooms and, above all, the staff were first class. I don't often call a place faultless, but The Coach & Horses deserves it. Highly recommend a stay or visit if you're nearby. 11/10.
