Town Centre Apartments

The apartment was bright, airy, and had plenty of space. There was some traffic noise, though it didn’t bother me, and the place matched its description. The location was handy, with shops, food stores, the market, and takeaways all a short walk away. The kitchen had a fridge freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, and cutlery. There’s no TV, but the Wi-Fi worked well. The bed and settee were comfortable, there were plenty of sockets, and the bathroom had a corner shower and heated towel rail. Heating was efficient, and linen and towels were provided. The free laundry room has two washers and two dryers, though you need to bring your own detergent. Check-in and checkout were easy with clear instructions. The cleaners were lovely, and Joe was very helpful. No disappointments for me, and in my opinion it’s the best place to stay around here.

The location worked well for getting around the centre, with public transport and all sorts of useful places just minutes away. It’s cosy and has what you need, but nothing fancy. The apartment was clean and tidy, and I’d say it’s especially suited to work stays. There’s no TV or radio, so bring something to keep you entertained, or have a conversation instead! The cost was good and communication was ideal. The building entrance was a bit off-putting, though the apartment itself felt nicer once inside, and there’s no parking. I had originally booked a different apartment, but the site hadn’t removed that option when it should have. The two gentlemen involved talked between themselves and arranged somewhere for me to stay, just not the place I’d wanted. My entry code didn’t work, which was frustrating, though it wasn’t my host’s fault. He was very helpful and went out of his way, so I’d give him 9 out of 10. I did find the 10 am checkout a little awkward, since I had nowhere to go and most places check in at 11 am. I’m sure there was a genuine reason for the timing, though.

The location was excellent.
