The park is set among picturesque hills between Glendevon village and Gleneagles, with lovely lodges tucked below the treeline. It’s a peaceful, tranquil place to relax, walk or fish. Perth is twenty minutes to the north and Stirling twenty minutes to the south, so you get a bit of both worlds.

We ate at the nearby Inn at muchart in the evenings. It’s a lovely, friendly pub with nice food. We had a great few days away, and the lodge was excellent, with spacious, nicely presented rooms and really comfy beds.

There are fantastic walks starting near the Park, and several places to fish around the reservoirs. The location is beautiful, the place was tidy, and the lodges look smart. The Park itself seems well maintained, but drainage on site is almost non-existent, and there seems to be little willingness to invest in the needed infrastructure. Water runs along the roads through much of winter, while snow and ice aren’t dealt with effectively. Most residents use mobile broadband, which is unreliable here. A fibre network is meant to be going in, so perhaps the Park could address the drains at the same time. The main road has a reduced speed limit, but loud sports motorcycles and aggressively driven luxury cars are often on it. That affects the roadside lodges a little and makes crossing the road risky for children. The photo was taken on one of the walks that starts next to the Park.

The staff were great, and the lodges are amazing inside and out. My dad said it was the best fishing he’d done in a while. We stayed in a beautiful lodge just over a month ago and had a brilliant time with the family. I highly recommend the homes and the park. Thanks!

I was there to deliver a vehicle to a resident. The park looked absolutely stunning, and even in lousy weather the views were still incredibly picturesque.
