I’ve stayed here several times over the years and it’s always been a fantastic visit. The rooms are clean and lovely, and I could see improvements around the hotel. The welcome from the staff is always really warm. On my last stay Julie and another receptionist, a blonde lady with glasses whose name I can’t remember, were both brilliant and a real credit to the hotel. In room 103 the sink plug got stuck. I mentioned it to Julie as I was heading out shopping, and she said it would be checked. I was away just over an hour, and when I got back the repairs lad had fitted a new plug that worked perfectly. Thanks to him too. I ate breakfast and dinner at the Beefeater next door. The food was fantastic, and even though it was busy, I was welcomed and seated within a few minutes. Great service there as well. Thanks to the team at premier inn, I’ll be back.

Our family room in the annex was a good size, and having a lift for the buggy was handy. It was clean and quiet, and there’s plenty of parking. We could walk over to the outlets in the morning. Friendly check-in and a great stay.

I’ve been working around south yorkshire for the past few months and stayed here a few weeks ago. This is easily the best one I’ve tried. It’s a nice quiet location, and the staff seem to take pride in looking after guests and actually want to be there. The room was fresh, crisp, and clean, with everything working properly. The bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfortable. I couldn’t get the HDMI connection going at first, but after I spoke to reception the maintenance guy was at my door within five minutes. He got my devices connected to the TV and running straight away. Smart guy. Five stars from me.

We booked a premium room from Friday through Monday, but there was no room cleaning or towel change. We had to go to reception twice to get clean towels. This wing is new, but broadband hasn’t been installed, so there was no WiFi there.

The room had all the extras we needed for our two nights, including a mini fridge, table, coffee machine, a comfortable bed, and extra bedding and pillows. My partner and I were comfortable. The problem was room 620 was meant to have premium WiFi for our whole stay, but we couldn’t access it. It didn’t even show up in the nearby networks.
