The welcome from Ziggy, Karen, and the rest of the staff made our two nights at The Loco feel special. Ziggy also shared a few bits of Haxey's history for us to explore. The first night, we had an Indian meal next door, and both the food and service were excellent. Those onion bhaji are the best I've had. Breakfast was made to order, with a generous round of toast, a fresh pot of tea, and good coffee. We'd happily recommend The Loco in the lovely town of Haxey. Thanks again to everyone for making our stay so memorable.

The pizzas were delicious and filling, with something to suit everyone's taste. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the place was clean and tidy. We waited a little over 15 minutes, which was understandable for such a busy time of year. I'd definitely go back.

Ziggy and Karen clearly care about the place and go out of their way for guests and customers. It's a delightful hidden gem, with proper pizza and other specials too. A great place with everything you really need.

While I waited for my takeaway from Saffron, I popped into the Loco for a pint and found a fantastic atmosphere. It's a proper old fashioned local pub. The pint was good and reasonably priced, and the food was excellent. Staff in both the restaurant and bar were friendly. I'm fairly new back to the area after living away from the isle for a few years, and we'll be back soon.
