Clashmore Wood

Julie and Steve are such kind, lovely people. We spent a week here, visiting the stunning Highlands, and really recommend this accommodation. The caravan suited our family of two adults, one child and two dogs perfectly. It was clean, comfortable and fully equipped, in a quiet spot surrounded by nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very well appointed, with good facilities and coffee and milk provided. We appreciated the helpful information on local walks. The hosts were friendly and informative about the area.

I spent five nights in the charming caravan at Clashmore Wood and found it such a lovely place to stay. The setting is peaceful, with the Sutherland hills, heather-covered moorland and wide-open skies all around. Julie and Steve welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home. Their care shows in the details. The caravan was spotless, comfortable and had everything I needed. The views were what stayed with me most, with the Scottish Highlands framed in every window. I kept stopping to watch the morning light fall across the hills and the quiet settling over the fields at dusk. It was so peaceful, and I can’t remember the last time I slept that deeply. If you want to unwind and reconnect with nature, this is a lovely spot. I’d head straight back next time I’m in the area.

We loved exploring the sights nearby, and the hosts were so kind. Their dog was a real treat, too. Clashmore Wood is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the house was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It felt cosy and welcoming from the start. We'd be very happy to return.
