Breakfast was freshly cooked and great, and our room was spotless and spacious, though we understand not every room is as large as ours. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. It's an easy walk into the town centre. There isn't private parking, so I've taken off a star for the location, but free public parking is available nearby overnight. We'll definitely return next time we're in Dover.

We only had one night in Dover, and I wish it had been longer. Castle House is really dog friendly, and my small dog was welcome. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I had a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast was yummy and made to order, and the location is great. I'd stay here again when I'm back in Dover.

Our room was airy and spacious, and breakfast was excellent. This is a clean, pleasant, affordable guest house in a handy spot, with a warm welcome for dogs too. One thing to know: the popular dog-friendly pub next door stops serving food quite early. We'll be back!

The host was lovely, and breakfast was really tasty. We had a large room with a comfortable bed and a sofa, and the location couldn't be better. The place feels a little old-fashioned, but in a charming way. The bathroom was small, though perfectly okay for our one-night stay.

Sharon was such a fantastic host at Castle House. Friendly, welcoming, easy to talk to, and accommodating, everything you'd hope for. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent. If you're staying in Dover, I can't imagine regretting a stay here. My strongest recommendation!
