The location in the centre of the village is great, with the bars and golf club only a few minutes’ walk away. I’ve stayed here several times in both apartments, and they’re nicely finished, beautifully furnished, and always spotless. Everything you might need is provided, from chargers and a hairdryer to toiletries and all the kitchen basics. The bigger apartment looks out over the harbour, while the smaller one has a cool garden overlooked by a medieval castle. A great place to stay in Ardglass.

The countryside nearby gave us loads to explore, from good walks to National Trust places with lovely gardens. Ardglass itself is handy too, with the harbour and Post Office/General Store close by. We spent a really enjoyable week here. The property was beautifully presented, had excellent facilities and thoughtful homely touches that made us feel welcome. Well worth a visit.

We’ve been back several times. Both apartments are modern, spacious and exceptionally clean, and the setting by the harbour is peaceful. There’s a shop right beside you as well. Great value in a lovely location, and we’ll return.

We felt very well provided for during our break, and the host had everything we could need. The anchor apartments were spotless, with lovely views and pubs and restaurants nearby. Such a lovely stay, highly recommend.

Bronach was a very pleasant owner, and both rooms we rented were clean and well equipped. The Anchor Apartments are above the Ardglass Post Office Supershop on the second floor, which is handy for picking up whatever you need, including their fabulous ice cream cones. It’s a great spot in Ardglass, just a two-minute walk from the Ardglass Golf Club and a short, wobbly walk to the Old Commercial Pub (Mannies). We’re looking forward to staying with Bronach again.
