We’re writing this from outside our camper van at the campsite! We booked a week ahead and spoke with Bob, the owner, who was lovely. After a nightmare journey through bank holiday traffic, we saw Bob walking his dogs and he guided us in. The site really isn’t hard to find. It’s a small, quiet and clean campsite, and we could choose our pitch. Bob checked in to make sure everything was okay. The toilets and showers were cleaned often, and the washing-up area was clean with hot running water. The local pub is just a two-minute walk away, Hornsea is five minutes by car, and Bridlington is about 20 minutes away. We couldn’t fault the site or how friendly the hosts were. Glad we found it and we’ll definitely book again.

Our first trip in a micro caravan was such a great experience here. The hosts gave us a fantastic welcome and are lovely people. Everything was spotless and tidy. A massive bravo from us 🙏🏼

Bob and Lil were perfect hosts at this lovely, clean, well cared for campsite. It’s easy to reach the tourist spots along the east coast of Yorshire, and we’d definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our four-night holiday here in June 2025. It was ideal for us with our two big dogs, and we’ll be back sometime in the future.

It was so quiet here, even during peak season, with only three tourers on site. The pitches sit on a gentle slope, and the freshly cut grass was well kept. Each of the 14 grass pitches has an electric hook-up. The toilets, separate for men and women, were very clean, and the free shower had piping-hot water, though you had to press the button again every 30 seconds. There’s also an Elsan point and a washing-up area. You won’t hear much traffic, since the site is 300m from the main A road through Atwick. Tesco, Hornsea beach, and the beaches north towards bridlington are about a 10-minute drive away. A great site for tourers, highly recommended.
