The cottage made a great base for visiting nearby places, especially Flamborough head, Robins Hood Bay and Whitby. It’s nicely decorated, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. The stairs might be a bit dicey for toddlers or elderly people, but they were fine for us.
Brandesburton is a lovely village with enough amenities for most people, and the hosts were so nice and couldn't do enough for us. The cottage was comfortable, clean and thoughtfully set up with everything needed for a short or long stay. It’s close to the seaside, York and Beverley. A perfect country getaway, 10 out of 10.
The owners were very considerate, and we’d feo come stay again. This cottage in driffield sleeps 4, with the bathroom downstairs, which wasn’t a problem. Pets aloud, and the garden is fench off. briglinton is a 15 mins drive. There’s a chippy right next door, a pub across the road with outdoor setting in summer, and a shop and post office down the road in this quite little village.
We’ve come away feeling really relaxed after an amazing week at this very cosy and comfortable cottage in a lovely village. The attention to detail was so good. The covid guidelines were very thorough, which helped us feel safe and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful week, highly recommended. sue and steve
