Chris, the owner, looked after us throughout our stay, and the service was top notch. He’s a lovely, friendly chap, and the staff were great too. The themed rooms are quirky, spotless and really cosy. We ate like a king and queen, with high-quality ingredients, nicely presented and delicious. Everything was faultless. We hope to visit again. Chris and Sally, the proprietors, made us feel very welcome and were attentive throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. The place has loads of character, plus excellent service and outstanding food. I’d highly recommend it.

We all had a fantastic time celebrating our grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary with a family stay. The rooms were really nice, the food was great, and Chris and Sally were very friendly.
