We slept like babies in the quiet, cosy rooms. There are only two, both spacious and beautifully furnished, with en-suite bathrooms. Fiona and Bryan keep the lovely house and garden in great shape. Breakfast was made fresh, with a Scottish spread, eggs and salmon, plus so many other treats. Fiona’s homemade jams and marmalade on toast were hard to stop eating. Easily the best B&B of our 11-day summer trip around north-east Scotland in 2023.

We were there for Waterloo, and Bryan was happy to show us his latest model war-game setup. He’s very easy to get on the good side of, especially if you like historical games. Fiona turned out to be a gifted chef, and although we hadn’t booked dinner ahead, she adapted and we ate in every night. Breakfast was delicious too. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and both hosts were generous with their time. This was our fourth trip to Scotland, and we’ll stay with them again. Highly recommend Dupplin 152.

Thank you Fiona & Brian for making us feel so special. I’ve stayed at some lovely B&Bs over the years, but nowhere has cared for us in every little detail like this. It felt like being looked after by a beloved relative. The bedroom was wonderfully cosy, breakfast was gorgeous, and the hosts were two of the loveliest people I’ve met.

The hosts seemed to have thought of everything, and the place was quiet and beautiful with a park nearby. My room was cosy and really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, including smoked salmon and poached eggs, and the soft cheese bread beside the croissant was especially good. Best B&B of my eight days in Scotland. Highly recommend.
