The Steadings - by StayDunfermline

We were five people and had a comfortable week here. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and well equipped, and the whole property felt clean, quiet, and safe. There’s also a charming little garden that made the place feel even more relaxing. Tesco is only five minutes away, which was handy for groceries. Reaching the city centre takes about 30 minutes in peak traffic, but the location still worked well for us. We had a great stay and would gladly come back to this area.

We liked the cottage so much that we extended our stay. It’s spacious and cosy, in a wonderful location, and had everything we needed. Stuart was a great host, very helpful, and even fitted baby gates to keep our toddler safe. We’ll book again and keep recommending it to friends and family.

We loved staying here and hope to return. Stuart was quick to answer questions and kept in touch well. The house is warm and comfortable, and the fully enclosed garden would suit dogs or small children. Both bedrooms had what we needed, and having two toilets was handy. The kitchen is a little worn in places, but clean, well stocked, and fully usable day to day. There weren’t the usual books or games, which I think keeps the place tidy and uncluttered. The TV could be frustrating to use, though we managed. It’s a peaceful spot with easy access to Rosyth, Dunfermline, the M90, and train links to Edinburgh.

Stuart was a lovely host. He welcomed us warmly and helped us throughout our stay. The house was clean and practical, and well placed for visiting the area between Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Stirling. Thanks again, Stuart.
