Ashbrook House B&B

Such a chilled, wonderful break. The spa is a must, with a really private feel and a setup that works well for couples or small groups. Our hosts were fantastic, the rooms were perfect, and the food was lovely. Five-star experience, thank you!

The peaceful scenery around the guest house made it easy to switch off, and we ended each day in the hot tub, which was pure bliss. The food was another highlight, with every meal fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Hazel welcomed our group so warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place was spotless. We had a brilliant stay and can’t recommend it enough. Thanks, Hazel, we hope to be back.

We stayed in autumn 2024, and the location made it easy to get to lots of lovely places. Our room was beautiful and well appointed, and breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed chatting with John and Julia about what we’d been doing each day. They couldn’t have done more for us. Highly recommend.

For my sister’s birthday we booked the honeysuckle package, and the alpacas and ponies made her day. We hopped into the hot tub with the lights and music on, then used the sauna. The cheeseboard was to die for, and we ordered Chinese food, delivered with hot plates so we could eat comfortably in the cabin. After dinner, back in the tub. We also had two bottles of Prosecco and a cocktail of our choice. We all slept so well, and breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh baked bread. Hazel showed us around when we arrived and made sure the apartment had everything we needed. It was clean, cozy, and so thoughtfully put together. Ashbrook House is a little gem, and Hazel and her husband were so kind and attentive. Highly recommended!
