The bed in our room was hard and very noisy, and after a closer look we found a few things that weren’t up to what we’d expect from a hotel of this calibre. The place itself is grand, though, and the views are beautiful. We spent two nights at Dunkeld House Hotel and had breakfast there both mornings. The buffet was okay and pretty standard, nothing memorable. From the menu, I had the Egg Florentine and my wife chose smoked haddock with poached eggs. Both were lovely, though I found there was a bit too much spinach on the Florentine. Beautiful setting and some good food, but the accommodation could use attention.

Grace was especially lovely, going the extra mile and making me feel welcome. She was friendly, polite and informative, and the other staff seemed great too. I had a lovely time, and the location is great. I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone. I’ll be back.

We had a wonderful stay in General Wade’s Annex, and the room was beautifully presented, comfortable and high quality. My family have had timeshares here for years, so I’ve been coming to Dunkeld since I was young, but this was my first hotel stay and it exceeded my expectations. The team’s care really made the difference, turning a terrible start into a special weekend. After one night in a horrific, dirty hottub lodge in Dundee, we cut that stay short and booked Dunkeld House Hotel at the last minute. We arrived stressed, but the girl on reception went above and beyond, welcoming us with two glasses of Prosecco for my 30th birthday and our first anniversary. Such a thoughtful touch, and it lifted the mood straight away. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time it won’t be last minute. Thanks again for a memorable stay.

We’re coming back in September for my best friend’s wedding and can’t wait. We stayed last night and thought the hotel was fantastic. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and Maisey, who served our meal, was fantastic.

The Stag restaurant served excellent food, had a great wine selection, and the service was some of the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed her massage at the spa. We had an excellent stay at Dunkeld House Hotel, in a secluded location, and the staff went above and beyond whenever they helped or served us. The Pina Colada was by far the best I’ve ever had. It made our anniversary, and I highly recommend the hotel for a quiet weekend. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness and accommodations!
