The beds were hard as rocks, and the furnishings were very old. The whole place smelled awful, which was gross. I know it's an old building, but the bank underneath doesn't smell like that. The stairs and pretty much everything creaked and cracked too, while the bank below didn't. It cost about the same as The Craw Inn, where breakfast for two was included. The woman we spoke to was nice, but this isn't a three star place by any stretch. I wouldn't stay here unless I was really stuck.

There was a camera and audio recording in reception, and the whole experience felt creepy. The host didn't show up at 4 pm as arranged, so I was told over the phone how to get in. My sister and her partner came by for a while later and left by 10 pm. After that, the host texted demanding more money. I felt very unpleasantly spied on, left early, and won't stay again.

The room had an overwhelming urine smell, and the place was cold and shabby. The shower room was dirty, and there was no TV remote. A really bad experience, and £60 was far too much.

There's CCTV and audio in the hallway, which didn't feel good. There was very little shared space. I won't be back.
