Angela was so helpful and welcoming before we arrived and throughout the stay. We came for a friend's birthday over the May bank holiday, and everyone agreed we'd happily recommend the place. The hostel is kept spotless, with a good kitchen, roomy shared spaces and a useful choice of bedroom sizes. White Park Bay Youth Hostel is just a short walk from the beach, with gorgeous views both ways and plenty of walks nearby. Bothy Coffee is also an easy stroll away and well worth a visit when you're on the north coast. We're already thinking about coming back next year.

We had a great family stay in lovely weather, and the staff were very friendly. The hostel sits above a beautiful sandy beach, with the Giants Causeway and footbridge nearby. The common room looks out over the bay, and the kitchen is well equipped, though there was only one rather grubby tea towel and no cleaning sponge. Rooms are basic, and the shower was barely more than a trickle. There were also a few loose bathroom tiles.

The children arrived for a school trip and found there were no rooms for them. The rooms that were available had damp and mould. We're hours away and can't help them. £600 per person well spent, yeah right.

The morning coffee spot just behind that bay window is lovely, and the location is hard to beat. The rooms are comfortable, too. Angela is really nice and does everything she can to make sure people have a good stay. Such an amazing place, I'd highly recommend it.

The woman working there was friendly, though she seemed a bit tired of life. The room was only just adequate, and the internet and electricity kept being unreliable. There wasn't any salt or oil in the kitchen for baking. The lounge and dining room felt really old, bare and not cosy at all.
