The good parts were the generous space, quality linen and towels, and the fans, heaters, milk, juice, and flowers provided. But there were serious safety issues. The windows had no locks or safety catches and could open fully, which made us worry a child could fall out. Some skirting board was missing, leaving metal fixings exposed, and the large gap under the bathroom door trapped our three year old's foot. A bar stool was broken, the blinds were broken and posed a choking risk, and the wardrobes weren't secured. Kitchen items were dirty and very worn, and the microwave was rusty. The upstairs bedroom needs work, especially around the ceiling and window. The host was unhappy with my concerns, but the pictures show why I raised them.
