We had a great night’s sleep in the comfy beds, then a really good breakfast in the morning. My brother and I were staying while doing the NC500. The rooms were lovely, with a good view, and it was great value. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast was fabulous, with everything you’d expect from a full Scottish, cooked and presented just right. There was fresh coffee and a big pot of tea too. The rooms were beautiful, newly decorated and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and great views. Thanks for making us feel welcome in your home.

The room was adequate, though one towel was extremely rough, and there was no TV. We heard quite a bit of family and children’s noise. Breakfast was good, but the price felt a little high for what we got. The hostess wasn’t rude, just not welcoming, and it seemed the place was run for the money rather than because they enjoyed hosting. We’d choose somewhere else in the area if we returned.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the shared living room was lovely, with the same beautiful views. From our bedroom we could watch lambs, bunnies and birds for ages. The room and en suite were clean and lovely, and the bed had nice, comfortable sheets. Breakfast was the best we had on our two-week trip, with fresh coffee and juice, a well-cooked full fry-up, cereal, fruit and yogurt. We stayed one night while doing the NC500 and had a lovely time. I’d definitely stay again, it was a great find!
