Albert Cottage Hotel

It was my first visit to IOW, and the staff knew so much about places to see. Their help made it a wonderful break, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The hotel was amazing, our room was huge, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was a birthday gift from my mom, and they made us feel valued and thoroughly spoilt. Thank you so much.

The team looked after everything so well, both through the evening and at breakfast the next morning. Nothing was too much trouble. I was lucky to celebrate my birthday at Albert Cottage in January, where I’d been secretly booked into the Master Suite. What a room: beautifully presented and maintained, with a stunning bathroom. A special stay in a gorgeous setting.

The cocktail menu changed every day, which is one of plenty of reasons to return. We had a fantastic weekend at Albert Cottage, with really welcoming, friendly staff. The food was first class. We tried the seven course tasting menu with wine pairing and can highly recommend it.

We had a brilliant two-night stay, and the garden view from our enormous room was lovely. It was sympathetically decorated, with a canopied bed, a short corridor leading from the fabulous bathroom, and a beautifully decorated bar area down an interesting corridor. Breakfast had lots of options and was brilliant, and the staff were very pleasant. The building itself is beautiful, there's loads of parking, and finding the place was easy, just a 3 min drive from the ferry. My only complaint was the mattress, which was very hard and lifeless.
