Cavendish Hotel

I've been staying at the Cavendish for three weeks now, with a divorce pending. The staff have been so helpful and accommodating, especially ‘OZGE’. Having my dog with me is a real bonus. My room is lovely and has a sea view, with a fridge, and plenty of tea, coffee and toiletries. I don't need housekeeping every day, but when they do come it's incredible, thank you Sophie. It's really good value. I haven't had breakfast or meals, so can't comment on those, but I have only good things to say. Thank you, Cavendish.

For the bargain price we paid, I can't complain. The room was a little dated but clean, cosy and warm, with crisp bedding and towels. It was peaceful, there was plenty of tea and coffee, and the hot water was lovely. I had a great night's sleep. We were visiting family, and couldn't have asked for more for the price. The reception and bar area were beautiful.

The building has so much character and history, and it's a shame the outside doesn't show how charming it is inside. It's a historic hotel and an important part of the city's heritage, so I hope it gets appreciated and valued again, and receives the recognition it deserves. I had an excellent stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit.

The building is beautiful and sits in a great spot, just a two minute walk from the pier. We had a lovely suite with a stunning sea view, a clean, comfortable bed and a nice bath. Great value, and I couldn't fault the room. The woman who checked us in was a little rude, unfortunately, but the rest of the staff were great.
