You won't be disappointed if you come for lunch and a speaker, whether you're staying at the hotel or visiting for the day. The Langham Hotel, Eastbourne, also has beautifully furnished, spotless rooms, many with lovely sea views, and the comprehensive menu offers everything from fine dining to comforting classics, all full of flavour and creativity. We'll be back! The place was clean, the food delicious, and I still wanted more, though I'm a gannet. We had a great room in a great location, and honestly couldn't fault our stay. The owners were lovely, reception couldn't do enough for us, and the breakfast staff were quick. One flamboyant man there was funny and attentive. The evening waiters and waitresses were efficient, while the bar staff and cleaners were great too. Every team member we met was smiling and happy to help. Such a warm, inviting, friendly hotel.

The beach is just across the road, with town a short walk away, even though the hotel is at the "wrong" end of the front, meaning the less smart end. We found the older clientele part of the charm, especially out of season. The hotel is comfortable, welcoming, well run and maintained, with sensible prices, friendly service and comfortable rooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good value, and the bar was decent. I'd recommend it for solid quality and value.

We only stayed one night with family, and I wish it could have been longer. The staff were professional and hospitable, with excellent service, fair prices, a very good bar menu and a delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely be back. Well done.
