Room 8 is small, and getting into bed on that side isn’t easy. That was my one drawback. Breakfast more than made up for it, with excellent fruit juice, great coffee, friendly service and choices for vegetarians and vegans. Nothing was too much trouble, and we’re looking forward to returning.

Audrey’s service was excellent, and we can’t praise her enough. My husband, daughter, our friend and I spent a weekend at The New England. We stayed on New Year’s Eve and would happily visit again. The hotel’s decor is lovely throughout, and our room was lovely too. The owner gave us a warm welcome. It’s in a wonderful spot with easy access to the beach and town centre. The food was really good, and the dining room was lovely. I’d recommend staying here.

A lovely place for a night in Eastbourne, right on the seafront. The staff were very nice, the rooms clean, and breakfast was good. There were good options for vegetarians and vegans too.
