Braeside

We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area. The bedroom was beautiful, with an extremely comfy bed, and the spacious bathroom had a large shower and roll-top bath. Breakfast was amazing, and Sally was a lovely host who was happy to help with anything. The gorgeous lab called Minky was a bonus, as was having a pub just five minutes away for dinner. One of the nicest guest houses we've stayed in.

We found Braeside peaceful and relaxing, and I'd happily recommend it for a break. Sally was friendly without being intrusive, and her full English breakfasts were delicious. Both rooms have really good showers and baths. The house sits quietly on the edge of a village with a lovely pub, while still being conveniently placed for most of the area's sights.

Sally was fantastic, and breakfast was the best, with the chance to try her lovely home baking too. We spent three nights in this quiet little village, close to all the places we wanted to visit. Our room was a good size and comfortable, with everything we needed, including a hairdryer, nice toiletries and a very comfy bed. We'll certainly visit again.

There's a nice pub about 400m away serving high quality pub food. At the house, Sally was a wonderful host and the rooms were very clean. Plenty of tea and coffee was provided, rather than the usual single servings, and breakfast was very nice with a choice of items. The entrance has steps, so speak with the proprietor about disabled access. We had a very nice stay and would go again.
