The breakfasts made a lovely start to each day, and our hosts at Kilmorie House had clearly put comfort first in the accommodation. We found this beautiful B&B while looking for a base to explore the Moray-Speyside region of Scotland. From booking right through to leaving, Peter and Ian were welcoming, attentive and thoughtful. Thanks to them for such a memorable stay.

I’ve stayed in six five-star hotels and none of them came close to this place for its history, decor or host. And the breakfast, oh my! Vegans really need to come and try the surprise. X

The road was quiet, yet town was only about a five-minute walk away, and there was off-street parking. We had a lovely, clean, generously sized room and a fantastic welcome at this guest house. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in Elgin.

The breakfast had a great choice, from fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt to tasty cooked dishes, with good hot drinks, toast and preserves. Our room was roomy and beautifully furnished, with a bay window and a lovely outlook. The area was quiet with little traffic, and the large en-suite shower room had good lighting and fluffy blue towels. Everything was spotless. Peter gave us such a friendly welcome. This is our favourite place to stay in Elgin, and we’d highly recommend it. Crawford and Margaret

Peter was friendly and helpful throughout, and kindly let us check in early so we could get ready for a wedding. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed really comfortable, and the shower was hot. Both mornings we had a delicious full cooked breakfast made with local produce, served in a lovely dining room. My partner and I agreed we’d definitely return to Kilmorie House if we visit Elgin again.
