The restaurant is lovely, with good food and excellent service, and the staff are always welcoming and accommodating. We’ve been coming to the Tempest for 20 years and still have a great time. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing, and it’s great value too. We’ll be back in a few weeks for a get-together with our three girls.

Having all the wedding guests stay overnight made breakfast the next morning feel lovely and intimate, since everybody already knew each other. The dog-friendly guest rooms were a bonus too. The wedding itself was fabulous, with a beautiful function room in a beautiful setting, and the food was delicious. Staff were fantastic, and the transitions between the ceremony, dining, and evening party went seamlessly. A special shout-out to Paula, the wedding coordinator, who was fantastic. If you want a slightly smaller, simpler, more intimate wedding venue, the Tempest Arms is absolutely the place. Thanks to everyone there who worked so hard to make the weekend so perfect.

The barn is beautiful and just right for an intimate wedding. We got married at the Tempest Arms on 20th September, and the day was amazing. Natalie, the wedding planner, and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful, making everything run smoothly. The hotel rooms are really nice and modern, with beautiful decor. Our guests all had a great day and commented on how well everything went. The food was amazing too. Would definitely recommend.

The bar area was cosy and welcoming, with a lovely log fire, especially on such a foul night. We ate here at the last minute and had no trouble making a reservation. The staff were lovely and very attentive, and the food was really tasty. We’ll definitely be back!
