Jackie and Peter were such welcoming hosts, and there was nothing more they could have done to make us comfortable. They’ve made things a little different since taking over last year: two bedrooms in the former garage are now a breakfast room, with a big table for a lovely continental spread and facilities for self catering. We could have managed everything independently, though. We spent two nights in the Orchard Room in the annex last December and loved the peaceful country feel. Looking across the garden to the fields in the morning was inspiring, and the king size bed had the most comfortable mattress I can remember. We’re hoping to return later this year.

Joanne was so friendly and helpful, and made sure we were well looked after. Breakfast was delicious, too. The barn is stunning, and our room was spotless, peaceful, high quality and had everything we could have wanted. It’s a beautiful spot in the quiet Cambridgeshire countryside. A lovely luxury B&B, I could happily live here.

This property has been under new ownership since September 2021 and is now residential only. The Grove Barn Garden Guest Suite is still available to book seasonally on AIRBNB.

We had the Grove Room, which had its own drive, in the converted barn with two guest rooms. It was quiet and comfortably furnished, with a lovely interior that felt well planned. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and they were very accommodating of my wife’s vegetarian diet. The welcome was lovely from the moment we arrived. I plan to return and would recommend Grove Barn Guest Room to anyone looking for a pleasant place to stay.

I’m often travelling for work around the East of England, and Grove Barn is still my favourite place to stay. Jo thinks of all the little things, even leaving a torch for the walk back from the pub. The bed and pillow are comfortable, and breakfast is great. Another lovely stay.
