We stayed for four nights in really good accommodation, and it was dog friendly too. There's a pub and restaurant across the road, and another pub serving food just a two or three minute walk away. You can walk to the beach in about 20-30 minutes. It's a great spot for visiting lots of attractions, and we'd definitely go back.

Having our own parking space was a big plus in this area. The cottage was comfortable for the two of us, and the location was great.

The beds were comfortable, and the location is great, but Rose cottage left us very disappointed when we stayed in early May. The place felt tired and dirty and needs a proper facelift. There was no welcome pack, just a few milk sachets tossed in the fridge. Out back, the yard was dirty, with dead potted plants, and didn’t feel inviting. The patio doors had what looked like a couple of long rags for curtains. The main bathroom was very tired. Neither shower worked, and the old bath wasn’t fit for purpose. The hot water tap was dangerously hot, even though there was a warning sign. A starter supply of logs for the stove would have been nice.
