Northumberland Luxury Stays - The Shearling

We’ve already started planning another visit after a brilliant weekend at Chivits at Northumberland Luxury Stays. It had more than enough room for six adults and two children, with stylish decor and a high-quality finish. The hot tub and garden were excellent, with outdoor seating and a BBQ, and everything we needed for a short break was there. There are plenty of places to visit a short drive away. The beach was one of the best parts of our stay at Gavel no. 11, right next to the property. It was beautiful, dog friendly, and perfect for long walks with our furry friends, just a short distance from home. The accommodation at Northumberland Luxury Stays exceeded my expectations. The house was stunning and well cared for, with beautifully decorated rooms and a relaxing hot tub. It felt like no expense had been spared in making it luxurious and comfortable. Tracy was an outstanding host, quick to reply and very accommodating. She went out of her way to make our stay feel special, and there was a nice hamper waiting when we arrived. We’ve just come back from a short stay and will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended for a luxury getaway in Northumberland.

Tracy was really helpful throughout our weekend and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was lovely, with plenty of room for all six of us and our two dogs. Having car charging facilities was very convenient too. We had a wonderful stay at Northumberland Luxury Stays and are already planning to return. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Druridge Bay was only a 10 minute drive away, with a lovely dog friendly beach, and Berwick upon Tweed took about 50 minutes to reach. We also visited Northumberland Zoo, just five minutes from the house. The location made a great base for exploring the area, and the private, secure garden was much loved by our dog. The house felt very private and relaxed, and was spacious for the two of us plus our Jack Russell, though it would suit a family group too for a special occasion or luxury break. We stayed at The Shearling for two nights with my husband. Tracy greeted us in the car park, showed us around, and explained the hot tub. The immaculate house had modern, luxurious decor and very comfortable beds. We loved relaxing in the hot tub under the evening lights. The welcome basket had locally made treats, and the fridge was stocked with basics like milk, juice, and butter. We’ll be back, thank you 😄
