I’ve been staying here every August for over 10 years and love the family atmosphere. Jackie and her husband Roger are lovely, welcoming people, and the place has a friendly, homely, caring feel. It’s a family-run B&B on a working farm, an easy walk from Evesham town Centre. The beds and rooms are comfortable, some with ensuite and some without, and it’s dog friendly as long as dogs are kept under control. Very nice indeed.

Jackie was a welcoming host and couldn’t have been more helpful. My room was clean and cheerful, with plenty of space, its own ensuite, a TV and a small fridge. In a month travelling around the UK, this was the only place I stayed that had a fridge, which was a big bonus.

We were disappointed to find our room wasn’t one of the rooms advertised on the website. It was a poky little twin room looking out over farm buildings, with very tired decor, no outside light and crumbling steps up to the front door. Breakfast was basic: one sausage, two bacon, one egg, a slice of fried bread, half a tomato and one slice of toast with marmalade. We paid the same as for the bigger, better rooms, so it didn’t feel like good value. When we complained, we were given a £5 discount.

We’re so grateful for the kindness Jackie and her husband showed us. They came to our rescue at short notice and made both us and our dog feel so welcome. The beds were by far the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in at any lodging. We’ll never forget how kind they were during our stay.

Jackie was fantastic, giving us tips on places to eat and visit, and she couldn’t have been more helpful. We didn’t get to meet Sally, but we did fall in love with her puppy Summer. The studio was spotless and felt like a home away from home, with a very comfortable bed and a kitchen that had everything we needed. I loved the place and would definitely recommend it for families and dogs. Broadway is a village well worth visiting.
