The Evesham Hotel

The gardens are wonderful, large and well established. Our room was a good size, though a bit tired, with a quirky nautical theme. There’s also a decent-sized pool and a sauna. It’s a characterful old hotel, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Good value for the price.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, but the bedroom furniture had definitely seen better days and needs a full refurbishment. The large windows were draughty and cold. Dim lighting, especially around the pool, made that area feel uninviting. The food was good, and the staff were friendly, efficient enough and seemed to work hard. There were some good points, but too many things let the place down. I wouldn’t recommend it or return.

The continental breakfast was filling, with some buffet choices as well, and there’s a nice garden. The hotel is gorgeous, and I had a lovely experience. My bed was spacious and super soft, and everything was clean and working properly.

Breakfast was excellent quality, with just about everything you could want. The food in general was excellent too, more about quality than quantity. Parking was plentiful and easy to get to. I was surprised to find my room had an Egyptian theme. It was very large and comfortable, and my colleagues’ rooms looked well appointed too. The pool was clean and towels were available.
