We had a good meal and service, and the staff were very friendly. The mill on the exe sits right by the river with lovely views. The 11 rooms next door were quiet, had a reasonable amount of space, and came with a good-sized bathroom, shower and nice soft towels. It’s well placed for sightseeing in Exeter and convenient to reach by car or train. Recommended.

The river view is great, and there’s a private car park, though it can get a bit tight at peak times. I’ve dined here quite a few times and have always had good food and friendly service. I haven’t stayed overnight, so I can’t review the rooms.

There are lots of tables and chairs in the garden overlooking the river at this beautiful pub on the river Exe. It’s a lovely old building set right by the water, with great ales on tap and plenty of cider and lager choices. The menu is really lovely and interesting. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, with lots of GF choices, and the service was excellent and friendly. Road closures around the city for the 10k run meant we couldn’t arrive in time for our table slot, but they held the table for us. So kind. Highly recommend!

We had a really enjoyable evening with our group of 16, and the food was very nice. Ava in particular looked after us and helped however she could. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.
