I stayed 3 days at heron lodge and everything was way better than i expected. I also got lucky and caught some amazing carps. Would recommend it to anyone 👍🏻

The lodges are stunning and luxurious, especially Kingfisher, and the views are lovely. South view lodges has a peaceful lake and a great location just outside Exeter, with supermarkets only a couple miles away. It was very clean, and hosts Jill and Andrew always made me feel welcome. Highly recommended! 👍

Kingfisher Lodge was perfect for our break, with everything we needed, and the setting was peaceful and relaxing. Shops and a supermarket are only 2 miles away. Jill and Andrew were friendly and helpful, and even took us to meet the very cute Alpacas! My husband and son had a fab time fishing while I watched from the hot tub. We're hoping to come back.

Heron lodge was really comfortable and had everything we needed for a self-catering break. It's set just feet from the lake, and the hot tub was superb. The outdoor seating made the outside space a great part of the stay too. Thanks to Jill for the warm welcome and cream tea. We'll definitely return.

We loved the private swim and came away with several carp in great condition, including a couple over ten pounds. Andrew clearly looks after the lakes and the fish. The lodge also has its own wooded area where the dog can be walked and the kids can play, plus a sunbathing spot when the sun comes out. Inside, everything was very clean and the furnishings felt state of the art. The hot tub, curved TV and superfast broadband were great too. Jill and Andrew were so friendly and helpful, nothing felt like a bother. We enjoyed it so much that we've booked another seven nights in October.
