Alfie at the front of house was brilliant, polite, keen to help, and went out of his way to make us feel at home. His service really added to our stay. The rooms at Queens Court Hotel were comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and the hotel had a welcoming feel. Shops, restaurants, and attractions were all an easy walk away, which made the location ideal for exploring Exeter. Thanks to Queens Court and especially Alfie. We’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast was superb, with quality throughout, from the wholemeal toast and proper farm sausages to the thick, excellent bacon with the fat cut off. The baked beans and grilled tomatoes were good too, and there was plenty of cereal and cold breakfast options. The owner or manager clearly keeps standards high, and you can see it. The bed was comfortable and the linen was high quality. A wonderful stay, and I’ll be back.

Alfie was so friendly and helpful during our stay, making everything easier and improving the experience. Queens Court Hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and a great location in Exeter. We had a pleasant stay and appreciated the service.

I usually don’t sleep well when we’re away, but I slept well here. It was March and freezing outside, yet the hotel felt warm and cosy the whole time. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was great too. Honestly, I couldn’t fault it.

We had to leave at 07:30, half an hour before breakfast began, so the very helpful, generous people running this cosy, well-appointed hotel packed us takeaway breakfasts with plenty in them. It’s in a great location. Highly recommended.
