St Andrews Hotel

There's plenty of parking on site, and a bus stop right outside goes into the city. We had a fantastic two-night stay. The hotel felt cosy and welcoming, and the staff were professional with a genuine warmth that made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, especially the best poached eggs I've ever had. A charming place for a comfortable, convenient and relaxing stay, with wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend it.

We spent a couple of nights here. The room was spotless, the staff friendly, and there was a great choice at breakfast. Free parking was a bonus. Regular buses into the city centre stop right outside, and the Quay is an easy walk away, with excellent restaurants. I'd highly recommend it.

Good value and a handy location. The room was bright and modern, with more facilities than a 4* hotel we stayed in the night before. There were two power sockets and two USB inputs on each side of the bed, plus little directional reading lights under the wall-mounted bedside lamps, which was a nice touch for tech users like us. Parking was great when it wasn't busy. We parked right outside the front door and could leave most of our luggage in the car, going back for it as needed. There's no lift to the first or second floor, so I wouldn't recommend it for wheelchair users. The shower was a bit small, really only suitable for one person at a time. I took off a point because there were food remains in a bedside drawer and breakfast was a little on the small side.

Breakfast was a highlight: high-quality food, generous portions and quick, attentive service. We stayed three nights and were really impressed. The rooms were modern, clean and quiet, with plenty of plug sockets and a well-equipped en-suite. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee, always a nice touch. Our room was cleaned each day while we were out without us having to ask. Parking at the back is ample, though it fills up later in the evening. The main entrance is locked at night, but our key card let us in easily. Prices were very reasonable compared with similar hotels, and we'd definitely stay again.
