We had a great welcome from the friendly reception staff, and the rooms were stunning. The bed and bedding were good quality, soft and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, both the food and the service, and breakfast was good quality as well. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in the UK for a long time. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again when we’re in the area.

The beds and pillows are lovely, and our room was modern, clean and quiet. Both receptionists we met were warm and welcoming, though on our first stay one incorrectly said you couldn’t walk to the airport. We’d already done that walk, which takes about 20 minutes. The hotel is well placed for flying, but you need a car or to walk, as public transport isn’t convenient. Breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Each hallway has a well-stocked station with tea, coffee and chocolate, which was great, though you do have to get dressed to use it. We understand why it’s arranged that way. The shower gel was a letdown both times, very watery and impossible to lather on our first visit. The bathroom towel hooks were also rather useless, as the towels kept falling onto the floor. First impressions of this new hotel and its contemporary fittings were good.

I stopped by to get a few hours of work done and found the space clean, modern and relaxed, with a cozy feel that made it easy to focus. Coffee and a breakfast bap were both excellent. One person on the breakfast staff really stood out for being kind, friendly and professional, and made me feel welcome straight away. That sort of care makes a big difference. I’d happily return and highly recommend it.

The room doors all slam, which woke me a few times as a light sleeper. Soft close would be my one bit of feedback. I’ve stayed here a couple of times since it opened, most recently a couple of weeks ago, and it’s a fabulous hotel that I’ll return to when I’m in the area. Staff are welcoming and friendly, and the whole place is spotless and very well looked after. Rooms aren’t huge, but there’s enough space, and the beds are outstandingly comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with plenty of variety. My cooked to order omelette was just perfect. The menu changes with the seasons to use in season produce, which is a nice touch. There’s plenty of parking. I have an EV and recommend setting up the Believ app before charging. You can pay by card, but it’s easier to get a receipt through the app.
