Breakfast was a lovely start to each day, with eggs cooked just right and plenty of fruit and orange juice. The room was comfortable and clean, with a view of the sea, and the place is handy for both the beach and town. Everyone was very friendly.

I only stayed one night in Exmouth, though with the lovely weather I wished I’d booked two. Rockfish is just two minutes away, and the sea and restaurants are close by; the centre isn’t far either. The building’s vivid colours puzzled me until I realised they represent the Bangladesh flag 🇧🇩. Ash and Amina were really lovely. I liked the rose-shaped pillow on my bed, and although my room didn’t have an attached bathroom, the separate one was just for my use. Some rooms look out over the bay. Breakfast was a simple continental spread.

After I was poorly during the night, the care and hospitality we received really made our trip. The seafront setting is fabulous, and town is about a 10 minute walk away. Everything was spotlessly clean. We’d definitely stay again.

We had a lovely family room with a sea view, and the location meant we could walk everywhere nearby without needing the car. The host was lovely, the room was clean, and it was well stocked with tea, coffee and so on. Coming and going was no problem. We’ll definitely stay again.
