The guest house is ideally placed for the beach and shops. My dad and I had a lovely stay, and Tonia was a welcoming, friendly host. My only quibble was that I’d asked for a room next to my elderly dad’s because of his health issues, and because I have mobility problems too. Instead, we were put up two flights of stairs.

The shower was small, and it took too long for the water to heat up. Apart from that, we’d happily stay again. The location is very good for both the beach and town centre, and our hostess was a lovely, helpful lady.

Tonia, the owner, is lovely, and the rooms are clean and nice. The decor is quirky in a fun, interesting way. There’s a clock in the dining room that opens and plays a tune when you press the button. My toddler loves it.

Breakfast is especially good, and the beaches and shops are close by. The landlady is lovely, makes you feel welcome, and is happy to help with anything. What a fantastic place to stay. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely come back, hopefully soon! 😃

A nightmare. The shower had no hot running water and barely more than a trickle. The TV kept freezing, and there wasn’t a socket above the floor, so I had to boil the kettle on the floor. The mattresses were sunken and uncomfortable, and need replacing. The room was very dusty, no good for my asthma, and the tea and coffee tasted like nothing. Breakfast was lukewarm and tasteless too. Hosting was very poor. Happy holidays! I’d never come back. :-(
