I slept really peacefully and followed it with a lovely breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of amenities. The place is immaculate, well maintained and organised, and the staff are lovely. I’d booked a parking space at the rear for £5, and my name was on it when I arrived. What a find. Well done, team, you nailed it.

The staff were really helpful, and I can’t fault this hotel. We’ve just come back from a three-night stay. The bedroom and bathroom were finished to a very high standard, and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. It’s 100 metres from the seafront and a little farther to town.

The room was beautiful and well appointed, and the entrance was tastefully decorated, with a lit Christmas tree and interesting artefacts and sofas in reception. Staff gave us a warm welcome and were attentive from the moment we arrived. I’d recommend The Dolphin Hotel in Exmouth and would happily visit again in any season. It’s a very nice place, so I imagine booking ahead is a good idea.

Having the car park was essential for us because parking in Exmouth is difficult, and the location is superb. My husband is disabled, and the welcome from the moment we arrived was really comforting. The room was spacious and recently refurbished. Above all, the staff were thoughtful and kind, as well as well trained and professional.

The room was spotless, comfortable and up to date, and we’ll definitely come back. The staff were welcoming, everything was clean, and breakfast was delicious. For a centrally located hotel, I don’t think you can do better. Such a lovely place.
