Jane cooked breakfast just how we wanted it, using quality ingredients, even when we strayed from the lovely menu. The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms were quiet, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean. My brother and I had booked both available rooms after a family bereavement, and Richard and Jane made us feel incredibly welcome. The stay was better than many top-end hotel rooms I’ve experienced. We couldn’t fault a thing. Thank you both for being such superb hosts and giving us five-star service. I’d highly recommend it.

We’re sitting in the amazing garden now with a glass or two of wine. The room is beautiful, and Richard and Jane greeted us by name and knew where we’d travelled from. What a fantastic place. If breakfast is as good as everything else, we’ll be very happy. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and we had it in a lovely, relaxed setting. The house is beautiful, and both rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed to unwind. Richard and Jane found us accommodation at short notice after a family bereavement and went out of their way throughout our stay. Richard even helped fix a power cut at my sister-in-law’s house. It’s a long story, but he saved the day during a really difficult time for all of us. I can’t recommend Cowpasture Barn highly enough. We’ll definitely be back, even if we have to find an excuse. Thanks, Richard and Jane.

We slept so well in the big, comfortable bed, and the cooked breakfast was tasty. We had a lovely weekend at Cowpasture Barn while visiting family nearby. Thanks to you both for looking after us so wonderfully. We’ll look to stay again next time we’re in the area.
