A well-equipped cottage with lots of room, and great value for money. We loved staying here. It’s in a rural spot and has off-road parking for one car.

There are nice gardens at both the front and back, and the local chickens and a neighbour’s goose were around. We spotted the horses behind the terraced houses just once, near the end of the week. The railway is behind the house, but only one train runs up and down the coast, around ten times a day, and it didn’t disturb us. The smart TV has access to all channels and there’s a DVD player too. The cottage is comfortable, with nice furnishings, cosy beds and a sofa, a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery and pans, plus a cheese grater and bottle and tin openers. The fairly new bathroom was nice as well. It could use a fresh coat of paint, though it’s still a very nice place. It wasn’t easy to find, as the location on Google Maps is wrong, so I had to call the owner. Once there, everything was good.
