The shower kept swinging between very hot water and cold water added three seconds later, every three seconds throughout our shower. We reported it at reception, but little changed. Breakfast was delicious as always, although it’s ordered from the waiting staff rather than served as a full self-serve buffet. Dinner runs until 20:30, with a nice range of dishes, so check with the waiter what’s available when you arrive. The location is handy, right by a well-kept park that’s good for a run. Our room was well placed on the third floor, though the lift sounded a bit clanky.

The location was okay for getting around on foot. It’s about a 25-minute mostly flat walk from Falkirk Grahamstown station, or 30 minutes from Falkirk High, though that route has a couple of long, fairly steep hills. There’s a large Tesco about 15 minutes away through Camelon, which felt a bit edgy on Friday evening. Next time I’d walk farther to the Morrisons or Asda near Falkirk Grahamstown station. I stayed in the annex, which smelled very clean and fresh as soon as I entered. The room was spotless and fresh too, and the air con actually worked, a welcome change. Breakfast was cooked to order, piping hot and tasty, and the restaurant was spotless. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly helpful, especially reception on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. As Premier Inns go, this was as good as any I’ve stayed in, 10/10. Thanks to the whole team.

The evening meal and breakfast offer was excellent value, and the food was good. The steak was great, and breakfast was cooked to order, with whatever you wanted to choose. Much better than a pre-cooked buffet. The restaurant used to be a Beefeater open to the public, but now serves Premier Inn residents only. It’s a good Premier Inn, with convenient free parking for residents, friendly reception staff, and a nice, well-maintained room and ensuite. The bed was really comfortable. Just what we wanted. All good 😎👍👍👍👍

Breakfast was good, with table service where you order what you want. The annex room itself was musty, though, and there was mould on the shower room ceiling. The bedroom window wouldn’t open to air it out, and the bathroom fan didn’t seem to do much. It felt like the room needed a deep clean or an overhaul, so I didn’t spend much time there beyond sleeping.

The breakfast was lovely, cooked to order for £10.99, and the buffet alongside it had a great choice of fruit, juice, yoghurt, bread, coffee and other hot drinks. Val and Andrew gave fantastic table service, and I think the chef was called Lucy. Her food was lovely and nicely presented. It’s also a really nice place to eat. I stayed for three nights and loved it. Pamela made check-in easy and was clearly good at her job from the start. I had a beautiful, modern, clean second-floor room overlooking the canal, with a nice bath and shower, plenty of hot water and nice towels. The maid was really cool too. The location worked well for visiting Falkirk, with easy access to the town centre and tourist attractions. A big thank you to the staff who go that little bit extra to make a stay special 🫶 Alan (203)
