voco Fareham - Solent by IHG

I was at voco Fareham for a nearby work conference and had a fantastic stay. I run a business focused on client care, so I noticed how good the service was. Cerys stood out: whenever we crossed paths, she remembered my name, asked how the conference was going and made a point of welcoming me. That personal attention made a real difference. Dinner was excellent, and I'd happily recommend eating at the hotel. Matt the chef came out to ask if we were enjoying it, a lovely touch that showed how much pride the team takes in its work. The care reminded me of the warm, attentive service I've had at Shangri La hotels across Asia and elsewhere in the world. That level of hospitality is rare, and made the visit a pleasure. I'd gladly stay again and recommend it to others.

We had a great overnight stay at voco fareham while travelling to Devon. Sarah was incredibly helpful when we checked in, Madi was a polite and attentive server, and Matt made fabulous food. Cerys arranged a downstairs bedroom to meet our needs. Such a kind, helpful and supportive team. Thank you.

The room was a 10/10, especially the shower, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My girlfriend and I stayed one night over Easter and had a fantastic time. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely too, with amazing food and great service. Claire-Louise gave us some really good menu recommendations and looked after us brilliantly. We’ll definitely be back. Dinner was a real highlight of our getaway. We were greeted by someone I believe was the manager, and a huge shout out to Claire-Louise. Her recommendations were spot on, especially the pork tomahawk, which was a 10/10. The whole meal felt friendly and special. We also had a lovely surprise waiting in the room, Prosecco and chocolates. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel like VIPs. Check-in was easy and welcoming, and the women at the desk gave us warm, professional service from the start. At the health club, the staff were attentive and friendly. We went in while children were still using the pool, but it was very clean and didn’t feel like an ordinary leisure centre. Across the stay, everyone we met was sincere and helpful, and the atmosphere was both luxurious and welcoming. My partner and I came for a getaway, and I’m someone who tends to nitpick when reviewing. We didn’t encounter a single fault. I’d happily recommend voco Fareham to anyone looking for thoughtful details, great service, and genuine hospitality.
