Sally made us feel welcome and was friendly and professional throughout. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. Parking is very tight, so anyone arriving in a large car should bear that in mind. I understand space is limited, though, and I enjoyed the stay enough to come back. I’d recommend Airport Lodge.

Sally and Richard really went above and beyond, always delivering warm, thoughtful service with a smile. The place was clean and tidy, with a good atmosphere, and it made my stay as enjoyable as possible. For somewhere to stay in the local area, I can’t think of a better choice. Thanks to them both.

The room was reasonably clean and tidy, but I was kept awake by noisy neighbours and traffic from the main road all night. The facilities felt dated and basic, and the kettle was dirty, with foul-smelling stale water in it. It was okay, but not great.

We had a lovely ground-floor room for three, and the breakfast arrangements were excellent. The shower was good too. For the Farnborough Air Show, I can’t imagine a better location, and we’ll seriously consider Airport Lodge if we need an early start from LHR or LGW, or are collecting someone arriving early, to cut down the drive from home. Thanks, Sally, for a five-star stay and for recommending Gurka Palace Restaurant, just a two-minute walk away. Nic, Gloria & Jerome, Bournemouth, UK.

We’ll definitely stay again. The room was a lovely size, with great beds and bedding, and the place was warm and well cleaned. Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of tea, coffee and fruit. It was easy to find and get around from, near a fantastic shopping centre but not right on top of it. Great value and a lovely welcome.
